88-050 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORD BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 7-16, 7-101, 12-86, 25-16 AND 25-36 OF SAID CODE

� ^ Section 4. That Section 25-16 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 25-16. Adopted. For the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the installation, alteration or repair of pipes, fittings and fixtures for water and sewers in all buildings and structures and on aII property now erected or to be erected, changed, cotistructe�, reconstructed, repaired or altered in the City, and outside the City, if the same are connected to either the city water or sewage systems, and. further regulating the con- struction, erection, enlargement, alteration or repair of a11 piping, fittings, fixtures, etc., used for the conduction of water or sewage, and in or on and about any and all premises in the City and outside the boundaries of the City, if same are connected to either the city water or sewage systems, that certain plumbing code known as the Standard Plumbing Code, 1988 Edition, save and e<ccept such portions as are deleted, modified or amended by this article, is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. A copy of such code has been and is now on file in the office of the city clerk and the provisions thereof shall be controlling as above stated." Section 5. That Section 25-36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 25-36. Adopted. For the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for governing gas piping systems extending from the point of delivery to the inlet connection of appliances, and the installation and operation of residential and commercial gas appliances and related accessories, the design, fabrication, installation, test and operation of such systems for fuel gases such as natural gas, manufactured gas, undiluted liquefied petroleum gases, liquified petroleum gas-air or mixture thereof for use in or on and about any and all premises in the City, that certain gas code known as the Standard Gas Code, 1988 Edition save and except such portions as are deleted, modified or amended by this article, is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. A copy of such code has been and is now on file in the office oi the city clerk and the provisions thereof shall be controlling as above stated." Section 6. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 7. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
