Ch. I-5
Ciry of Paris Proposal - Co![ection Program
TaxI warrants az•e an extremely effective tool in collec6ng delinquent business personal
property accounts. Approximately 80 percent of our seizures result in immediate payment
of delinquent taxes without the necessity of actually executing the warrant. The remaining
seizures generally recover the taxes due from the proceeds of the sale of the personal
property.
The firm has conducted hundreds of tax seizures for its clients. The use of a tax warrant
requires an inidal on-site inspection and consultation with the client. If a determination is
made to issue a tax warrant, our firm will make all necessary prepazations to secure the
property, which will be seized and ultimately sold.
SUMMARY SEIZURE PROCEDURES
Linebarger Heard Goggan B(air Graham Pena & Sampson, LLP i•~~
