MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2012 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, October 1, <br />2012, was called to order at 5:43 p.m. by Dennis Chalaire, Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Dennis Chalaire <br />James Price <br />Mike Folmar <br />Holland Harper <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Richard Hunt <br />Jerry Akers <br />Keith Flowers <br />C. Also present were Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and <br />Development; Sue Lancaster, Council Liaison; and Jeanna Scott, City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (September 4, 2012) <br />Motion was made by James Price, seconded by Mike Folmar to approve the meeting <br />minutes for September 4, 2012. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Public hearing and consideration of and action to consider amending Section 8-107, 8-201 <br />and Section 12-100 of the City's Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 to require a specific use <br />permit (SUP) for self-storage/mini-warehouse in a commercial (C) zoning districts. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. No one spoke in favor. <br />B. No one spoke in opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Shawn Napier reviewed the petition with commissioners. Motion was made by Mike <br />Folmar, seconded by Holland Harper to approve the Specific Use Permit. Motion carried <br />�= 24 <br />
