Page 3 5. Consideration of and action on the following ordinances: A. Creating a new article XII to Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris entitled "Payment of fees and other costs"; authorizing the payment of fees, fines, court costs, and other charges to the City of Paris by cash, checks, or credit cards, where appropriate; imposing a 5% convenience fee on payment by credit cards; authorizing the collection of service charges; authorizing contracts for coliection and seizure of outdated or unauthorized credit cards and the collection of charges for the return of said cards; and providing for deposit of fees so collected. 6. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: A. Declaring as surplus property a 1968 Mack Fire Engine Model CF611 F, Serial 1063, and two old hydraulic rescue tools; approving the sale of said fire engine to Texas A&M Fire Academy for consideration that the academy allow ten (10) Paris recruits to attend basic training at one-half (1/2) the regular price. THIS ITEM WAS TABLED AT THE NOVEMBER 12, 2001, REGULAR MEETING. SHOULD THE CITY COUNCIL WISH TO CONSIDER THIS MATTER TODAY, A MOTION TO BRING THIS ITEM FROM THE TABLE IS REQUIRED. B. Awarding the bid and approving and authorizing the execution of a lease purchase agreement for one (1) model year 2002, 4-wheel drive backhoe/loader for use in the Water and Sewer Divisions of the Public Works Department. C. Approving the plans and specifications and authorizing the advertisement for bids for the construction of a new Animal Shelter. D. Renaming Record Park after Leon Williams. E. Appointing members to the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health. THIS ITEM WAS TABLED AT THE DECEMBER 10, 2001, REGULAR MEETING.
