Lisa McAllister, Executive Director of the Lamar County Chapter of the <br />American Red Cross, requesting the donation bythe City of Paris of the <br />ambulance designated Medic 4. <br />(1) Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: <br />(a) Declaring as surplus property the ambulance designated <br />Medic 4 and finding a public need and necessity in <br />transferring said surplus property to the Lamar County <br />Chapter of the American Red Cross, accepting a donation <br />from Lamar County to defray 50% of the trade-in value of <br />said ambulance, and repealing Resolution No. 2002-002. <br />(b) Repealing Resolutions Nos. 2001-184 and 2002-003, <br />authorizing the execution of a new purchase order for one <br />(1) model year2002 Ford F350 Type 1 Ambulance through <br />the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments, and <br />providing for funding in lieu of trade-in. <br />C. Melenie Barajas, 865 38th Street S.E., requesting the City Council to <br />hear and decide on a bettersituation for the protection of lost and stray <br />animals. <br />D. Dr. Michael Leddy, 3150 Clarksville, expressing appreciation to the City <br />Council for their commitment to make Paris a Character City and tell <br />about plans to assist in the process. <br />5. Receipt of a petition for annexation of an approximately 14.310 (cal led 14.526) <br />acre tract of land owned by D. Wayne Brown, Chad Brown, and Cade Stone, <br />d.b.a Brownstone Development; Junior Fowler, d.b.a. Jr. Fowler Homes, Inc.; <br />Kent John Hill; Lyn Hill; Bradley K. Drake; and Julia L. Drake. <br />6. Consideration of and action of a resolution granting the petition for <br />annexation of an approximately 14.310 (cal led 14.526) acre tract of land owned <br />by D.
