Item No. 14 <br />Me�no�andum <br />TO: City Council <br />John Godwin, City Manager <br />FROM: Shawn Napier, P.E., Director of Engineering, Planning & Development <br />SUBJECT: FINAL PLAT FOR LOT Z0, BLOCK C OF WINDSOR ESTATE #1 <br />DATE: 1-8-2013 <br />BACKGROiJND: This plat was acted on by the Planning and Zoning Commission on January <br />7, 2013. The Commission recommended approval of the final plat, subject to City Engineer's <br />recommendations, by a vote of 6-0. The corrections have been made to the final plat. The <br />original plat for this subdivision was approved in 1983. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: Mr. & Mrs. Mike Covington own the house and lot at 705 40t" Street. <br />They also own an unplatted lot to the west of the lot the house is on. They would like to <br />construct a metal building for storage. The separate lot is not platted. This final plat will join the <br />two lots into one and enable the owners to get a building permit for the storage building. <br />BUDGET: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve a Final Plat of Lot 20, Block C, Windsor Estate #1, <br />located at 705 40th Street NE. <br />
