Mr. Bean anolyzed and developed water consumption figures
based upon population density and developed and calib[ated the woter model. Recommendations for current and future water
system improvements were incorporated into ihe city's water system cnpital improvemenis plan.
. Ciry of Augusta, Georgia Water Distribution System Model. Mr. Bean was responsible for constructing a model of the water
distri6ution system. The model was used to make recammendations to eliminate large pressure variations in Central Business
District by determining the correct downstream settings of all pressure reducing values. The calibrated model was also used ta
condud studies on the movement of pressure zone boundaries ond to size and place odditional storage.
.
