Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the request to abandon the City's interest in <br />and designate as closed a portion of Price Street beginning at the west <br />boundary line of N. Main Street west approximately 216 feet to the east <br />boundary line of 1st Street NW. <br /> <br />Se <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Steve Methven gave the Commission Members a letter from the City <br />Engineer requesting this item be tabled because of not being sure of <br />where the utility lines are to retain an easement. The City had not <br />received a letter from the County Judge requesting the street closing. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the request to abandon the City's <br />interest in and designate as closed a portion of Price Street beginning <br />at the west boundary line of N. Main Street west approximately 216 feet <br />to the east boundary line of 1st Street NW. <br /> <br />Motion was made to table by Bobby L. Myers pending letter from the <br />County, City Engineer's approval, traffic study, and letter from <br />Emergency Services on the effect of closing the street. Motion was <br />seconded by Eddie Vincent. Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the recommendation of the Final Plat, <br />The Hills, Phase II. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve by Barbara Forrest and seconded by <br />Eddie Vincent, subject to the City Engineer's Memo dated, February <br />25, 2002. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 6:15. <br /> <br /> <br />
