Amending Article II to Chapter 25 of the Code of Ordinances of the City <br />of Paris, the Plumbing Code, to revise various sections of said code <br />dealing with cross-connection and backflow prevention to conform with <br />regulations and requirements imposed bytheTexas Natural Resources <br />Conservation Commission. <br />5. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: <br />A. Accepting the resignation of Dr. Gary E. Work as medical director for <br />the Emergency Medical Service of the City of Paris, appointing a new <br />medical director, and approving and authorizing the execution of an <br />EMS Medical Control Agreement. <br />B. Expressing support for applications for the Low Income Housing Tax <br />Credit (LIHTC) Program through the Texas Department of Dousing and <br />Community Affairs (TDHCA) for two (2) projects located in or annexed <br />to the city of Paris, Texas, and recognizing the economic necessityand <br />benefit from either project. <br />C. Approving a proclamation declaring the month ofApril as Fair Housing <br />Month. <br />D. Approving and authorizing a Surface Use Agreement by and among the <br />Texas Military Facilities Commission, the Sports Car Club of America, <br />Lamar County, Lamar County Chamber of Commerce, and the City of <br />Paris regarding the use of Camp Maxey for a road rally conducted by <br />the Sports Car Club of America. <br />E. Authorizing the execution ofa Group Benefits Services Agreementwith <br />the Texas Municipal League-Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool <br />(TML-IEBP) for (1) Term Life Insurance, (2) Stop-loss Insurance for its <br />otherwise self-funded Medical/DentalNision Program, (3) Third-Party <br />Administrative Services for the above coverage, (4) Maintenance Drug „ <br />Program, and (5) Long Term Disability. <br />F. Approving and authorizing an application to the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency for a U.S. Fire Administration 2002 Assistance to <br />Firefighters Program Grant. <br />
