This project <br />is in comperition with another project in Paris, Paris Retirement Village, for an allocation <br />this yeaz. These projects have scored first and second in the region and one of them <br />should receive an allocation of tax credits this year. <br />Atthough our site is currently in the County, we have promised in writing, to voluntarily <br />annex the property upon purchase and a receipt of an allocation of credits. As a result, <br />our project will be constructed to meet all City standards. <br />We have requested support from both Representative Mark Homer and Senator Bill <br />RatGff. Both elected representatives have requested that we obtain a unanimous <br />resolution from the City, and, in our case, the County, to show that we have local support <br />for this needed property. Housing Associates of Paris, Ltd., the applicant requests a <br />resolution from the City supporting our application.
