A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVINGAND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. Ol TO THE ROUTINE AIRPORT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM (RAMP) GRANT, TXDOT PROJECT NO. AM 2002PARIS, FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR NEEDED ELECTRICAL REPAIRS AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK; MAHING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of May, 2001, in Resolution No. 2001-069, accept the grant award for the "Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program," TxDOT ProjectNo. AM2001PARIS, in the total amountof $10,000.00, with the City of Paris providing $5,000.00 in matching funds; and, WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Paris perform electrical wark at Hangar H and other items of miscellaneous wark at Cox Field Airport, and it is necessary to amend the aforesaid grant to request additional funding; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens of Paris to execute Amendment No. 01 to the Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program, providing for funding in the total amount of $8,300.00, with the local cash match being $4,150.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That Amendment No. O 1 to the Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program with the Texas Department of Transportation, TxDOT Project No. AM 2002PARIS, in the total amount of $8,300.00, requiring a matching cash contribution of $4,150.00, be, and the same is hereby, approved. Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, Amendment No. 0 1 to the Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program, under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
