A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVINGA SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT TO THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER CONTRACT FOR THE SANTA FE - FRISCO RAILROAD DEPOT PROJECT; MAHING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 6th day of May, 1999, in Resolution No. 99-044, award the conshuction manager contract for the Santa Fe Frisco Railroad Depot Rehabilitation Project, CSJ #0901-29-012, to Hanson and Associates; and, WHEREAS, the Project Director, Thomas E. Haynes, acting as project director, recommends the amendment of the contract for said project, providing for a net increase of $38,178.00 in the contract price, for a total contract price of $88,178.00; and, WHEREAS, the form of the Supplemental Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the form of the Supplemental Agreement to the Construction Manager Contractfor the Santa Fe Frisco Railroad Depot Rehabilitation Project, CSJ #0901-29-012, attached hereto as Exhibit A, to adjust the original contract to include additional construction management services to complete the project and provide for a net increase of $38,178.00 in the contract price, for a total contract price of $88,178.00, be, and the same is hereby, approved. Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, said Change Order, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage.
