Item No. 8 <br />memo�andunz <br />TO: City Council <br />John Godwin, City Manager <br />FROM: Shawn Napier, P.E. <br />Director of Engineering, Planning & Development <br />SUBJECT: CEFCO #1097 ADDITION 313 FINAL PLAT <br />DATE: February 5, 2013 <br />BACKGROUND: The Food Fast Corporation is proposing to demolish the existing building <br />located at 3750 Lamar Ave. They are purchasing two lots south of the existing service station. <br />This plat proposes to unite the three lots into two lots. One lot is currently zoned Planned <br />Development —c (PD-c) and the others are zoned Commercial (C). I have reviewed the final plat <br />of the above referenced addition. The final plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision <br />regulations. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted to approve the plat by a vote of 4-0 on <br />February 4, 2013. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: The Food Fast Corp. is proposing to construct a 5,000 square foot store <br />with a large fuel island and canopy on lot 1 that faces Lamar Ave. The two lots will share an <br />access road to the Loop. The infrastructure needed to support Lot 1 already exists. <br />BUDGET: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve the final plat of CEFCO # 1097 Addition 313. <br />
