Item No. 19 <br />Me�no�andu�z <br />TO: City Council <br />John Godwin, City Manager <br />FROM: Janice Ellis, City Clerk <br />SUBJECT: REQUEST FROM MAXEY RIFLEMAN CLUB <br />DATE: 2-6-2013 <br />BACKGROUND: Since at least 1975, the Maxey Rifleman Club (formerly known by other <br />names) has leased from the City a tract of land containing approximately 35 acres located at <br />Lake Crook to use as a gun range. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: A request was received February l, 2013 from the club's officers <br />requesting renewal of their lease at Lake Crook. The club's lease expires December 31, 2013. <br />C 11Ze��lt��lk1 <br />RECOMMENDATION: Extend an invitation to the club to attend work sessions regarding <br />possible development of Lake Crook and place an action item on a future agenda with regard to <br />renewal of the lease. <br />
