DR. GAYLEN HAYS.IS REQUESTING SITE PLAN APPROVAL FOR A NEW <br /> CLINIC HE PLANS TO BUILD AT 520 NORTH COLLEGIATE. DR. HAYS <br /> PLAN APPEARS TO HAVE SUFFICIENT PARKING AND GREEN SPACE. <br /> AND I WOULD RECOMMEND APPROVAL. <br /> <br />2. JULIA SUGGS IS REQUESTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (DAY,CARE) <br /> AT 1801 POLK. MRS. SUGGS IS WANTING TO PUT A DAY CARE CENTER <br /> HERE AND ALREADY HAS HER LICENSE FROM THE STATE. IF THERE IS <br /> NO OPPOSITION I WOULD RECOMMEND APPROVAL. <br /> <br />3. FAULK AND FOSTER IS REQUESTING A ZONING CHANGE ON THIS <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3720 LAMAR (BIG TEX FEEDS). CURRENTLY <br /> BIG TEX HAS PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-c INDUSTRIAL PARK ZONING. <br /> FAULK AND FOSTER WANTS TO CHANGE THE ZONING SO THEY CAN <br /> INSTALL A NEW CELLULAR TOWER THERE. UNDER THE CITY OF PARIS <br /> NEW TOWER ORDINANCE YOU CAN NOT PLACE A TOWER 1N PLANNED <br /> DEVELOPMENT. I SEE NO REASON TO CHANGE THIS PIECE OF <br /> PROPERTY JUST TO ACCOMMODATE A TOWER. THIS PROPERTY IS IN <br /> AN AREA WITH PRIME DEVELOPMENT HAPPENING ALL AROUND IT <br /> AND IF WE GIVE UP THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT WE LOSE THE <br /> POWER TO SEE ANY SITE PLANS ON ANYTHING INDUSTRIAL THAT <br /> MIGHT HAPPEN ON THIS PROPERTY. THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT <br /> WAS PLACED ON THIS PROPERTY SO THE CITY COULD PROTECT <br /> SURROUNDING BUSINESS. MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO DENY THE <br /> ZONING CHANGE. <br /> <br /> <br />
