Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all things
<br />approved.
<br />Section 2. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No.
<br />1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a
<br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) BILLBOARDS be, and the
<br />same is hereby, established on LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 341, on property belonging to JEREMY
<br />NEWBERRY, AGENT FOR KAROL A. AZAY, OWNER, so as to include in such
<br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) BILLBOARDS the
<br />hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an
<br />AGRICULTURE DISTRICT (A), and thatthe boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C)
<br />WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) BILLBOARDS be, and the same are hereby, established as
<br />follows:
<br />SITUATED within the corporate limits ofthe City ofParis, County ofLamar,
<br />and State of Texas, being a part of the James Currey Survey, located about two miles
<br />south of Paris and of the property conveyed by Mrs. Emma J. Crowley, et al to
<br />Crowley Bridges on August 26, 1941, by deed recorded in Volume 260, Page 393,
<br />Lamar County Deed Records, being Lot 4, City Block 341, and being more
<br />particularly described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at a stake in the east boundary line of said Crowley, et al-
<br />Bridges property at a point a distance of 679 feet south of its northeast corner, said
<br />beginning point being also the southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to Bramlett
<br />in December 1959 by deed recorded in the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas;
<br />THENCE West a distance of 1027 feet to the west boundary line of State
<br />Hwy 24;
<br />THENCE with said Highway, South 25 Deg. West a distance of 1600 feet
<br />THENCE South 65 Deg. East a distance of 25 feet, a concrete monument in
<br />the east right-of-way line of said State Hwy 24;
<br />THENCE South 25 Deg. West a distance of 400 feet to a creek, which is a
<br />continuation of Baker's Branch;
<br />THENCE down said creek as follows: South 25 Deg. East a distance of 400
<br />feet South 40 Deg. East a distance of 500 feet South a distance of 600 feet South
<br />40 Deg. 30 Min. East a distance of 262 feet
<br />THENCE East a distance of 1355 feet, a fence corner;
<br />THENCE North a distance of 3006 feet to the place of beginning, containing
<br />103 acres of land; SAVE AND EXCEPT and LESS 6.21 acres conveyed to
<br />Highland's Building Materials, Inc. on June 29, 1970, by deed recorded in the Deed
<br />Records of Lamar County, Texas, leaving 96.79 acres of land; same also being one
<br />of two tracts of land described in deed from T. R. Keahey and wife, Mabel Keahey,
<br />to J. P. Adams and wife, May Judith Adams, dated October 12, 1971, recorded in
<br />Volume 530, Page 157, Lamar County Deed Records., and being located in the 3800
<br />block of S. Church Street.
