A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AWARDING THE BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 2002 YEAR MODEL SIX CYLINDER (V6) EXTENDED CAB PICKUPS FOR USE BY THE REGIONAL CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE APPREHENSION PROGRAM; MAHING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Paris did heretofore advertise for bids for the purchase of two (2) 2002 Year Model Six Cylinder (V6) Extended Cab Pickups for use by the Regional Controlled Substance Apprehension Program, which bids were received until 3:00 o'clock P.M., Tuesday, the 7th day of May, 2002; and, WHEREAS, the best bid for such equipment was made by Bonham Chrysler of Bonham, Texas, and it should be awarded the bid for the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the bid of Bonham Chrysler for the purchase of two (2) 2002 Year Model Six Cylinder (V6) Extended Cab Pickups for use by the Regional Controlled Substance Apprehension Program in the total amount of $32,637.38, be, and the same is hereby, accepted and let conditioned upon said bidder meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the bid documents.
