MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION <br />TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2013 <br />3:00 P.M. <br />1. Zac Saffle called the Building and Standards Commission Meeting to order at 3:03 <br />P.M. Zac Saffle was nominated chair due to Don Wilson's absence at the start of the <br />meeting. <br />Roll was called. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Johnny Norris <br />Zac Saffle <br />Vicky Ballard <br />Wendell Moore <br />Chris Brown <br />Don Wilson (arrived at 3:28pm) <br />B. Staff present: <br />Robert Talley <br />Nicki Brown <br />John Lestock <br />John Godwin (arrived at 3:25pm and left at 4:OOpm) <br />C. Others present: <br />Sue Lancaster — City Council <br />Mrs. Norris — Johnny Norris wife <br />Mike Alexander — Property owner <br />David Harris — Property owner <br />Linda Williams — Mt. Zion Church Board of Trustees <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (November 19, 2012) <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris and seconded by Chris Brown to approve the <br />minutes for the November 19, 2012 meeting. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />3. Public Hearing to consider presentations by City of Paris Code Inspectors and <br />owner(s) and/or lien holder(s) of the below properties who have been given notice of <br />a violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, <br />Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures": <br />Request was made by Robert Talley to move to item 3. O., 1605 Van Zandt, Harlan <br />_� 12 <br />
