Self Service Fuel System: <br />The self service fuel system was discussed. Mr. Haynes advised that he <br />had checked with TxDot Aviation and the self service fuel system is not <br />an eligible grant item. A motion was made by J.W. Ashmore and <br />seconded by Rod Kosterman to present to the City Council a <br />recommendation to allow J.R. Aviation to pay for and install a self <br />service credit card fuel system for AV gas. J.R. Aviation would then <br />suspend the monthly payment of AV gas fuel to the City until such time <br />as the cost of the self service is paid off. This estimated cost of the self <br />service fuel system is $19,295.95. The motion passed unanimously. <br />VL Status of TxDot Aviation Approval of a Relocation of the Helicopter <br />Landing Spot: <br />Mr. Haynes reported that he thinks approval is forthcoming but an <br />additional document needs to be sent to TxDot. <br />VIL Status of the Recommendation to City Council of an Access Road on <br />Northeast Part of Cox Field: <br />Mr. Haynes reported that a gate is at the northeast corner and an old <br />survey has been found that shows that our property joins Sylvan Road, <br />therefore we have access to Sylvan Road. <br />VIIL Discussion of Proper ldentification and Recognition of Airport <br />Namesake, Charles Mac Cox: <br />This item stayed on the table as Mr. Ashmore has not been able to <br />locate a picture of Mr. Cox. <br />IX. Presentation of Proposed Cox Field brochure to Board: <br />A proposed Cox Field Brochure was presented to the Board for review <br />by Mr. Haynes.
