I <br />Section 6. That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the City of <br />Paris that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are severable <br />and, if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section of this ordinance shall become declared <br />unconstitutional or unlawful by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, <br />such finding of unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, <br />sentences, paragraphs, or sections of this ordinance, it being the intention of the City Council that <br />such remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. <br />Section 7. That all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith and not <br />expressly addressed herein are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict only. <br />Section 8. That this ordinance shall become effective on August 1, 2002. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 2002. <br />Michael J.
