Specifications 2002 Current Model 2-Wheel Drive Tractor Purpose The equipment described in these specifications will be one ( 1 ) 2002 current model 2- wheel drive tractor to be used in the Utilities Department at the Water Treatment Plant. Equipment will be expected to perform under conditions normally found in the Utilities Department, i.e. occasional flooding, muddy conditions, extended periods of time at low RPM and extended periods of time under heavy use conditions in all temperatures. These conditions shall not adversely affect equipment operation. Bid Requirements Equipment bid shall be new, current model 2002 2-wheel drive tractor. Demonstrator or used equipment will not be acceptable. Equipment bid shall meet the following conditions. Equipment shall be delivered fully serviced, adjusted and ready for operation. All repairs or modifications needed for normal operation shall be made to the satisfaction of the City of Paris. 13) Replacement parts and service department shall be maintained within 150 Miles of the City of Paris. Service Department shall be staffed with qualified service personnel, shall stock a representative parts supply (especially fast wear items), and shall have provisions for securing parts from manufacture. c) The successful bidder or manufacture shall provide an instructor for a training session at the City of Paris Utilities Department. This training shall orient city personnel on the operation and mechanical features of the equipment. D) The City of Paris reserves the right to award the bid to any responding bidder. The Quality of the equipment supplied, conformity with the specifications, the suitability to expected use, delivery time, warranty terms and parts availability may also be a consideration in awarding bid. E) The bidder shall include all transportation cost, and demonstration cost on the price quoted. Equipment shall be F.O.B. City &Paris Water Treatment Plant, Lake Crook Rd., Pads Texas. F) The City of Paris reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive information in bids, to accept such bids as may be deemed in the best interest of the City of Paris.
