Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />June 4, 2002 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the petition of Earl Posey for a change <br />in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling No. 2 (SF-2) District to a Two- <br />Family Dwelling (2F) District, Lots 2 & 3, City Block 300, being the 500 <br />Block 24th NV~. <br /> <br />Motion was made to deny by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Bobby <br />Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />10. Public Hearing to consider the request on the abandonment of a fifteen <br /> (15) foot alley in Block 4 of the S.J. Wright Addition between Bonham <br /> Street (U.S. Hwy 82) and Kaufman Street beginning at the West <br /> boundary line of 18tb Street SW, West to the East boundary line of 19th <br /> Street SW. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />James Flowers stated that the alley was a "no man's land" that <br />accumulates trash and brush and if closed, property owners would <br />clean it up and keep it that wax.. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the request on the abandonment of a <br />fifteen (15) foot alley in Block 4 of the S.J..Wright Addition between <br />Bonham Street (U.S. Hwy 82) and Kaufman Street beginning at the <br />West boundary line of 18th Street SW, West to the East boundary line <br />of 19th Street SW. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve by Bobby Myers and seconded by Louis <br />Yates, Jr. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the recommendation of the Preliminary <br />Plat, Lot 14-A, City block 259, Red River Business Park. <br /> <br /> <br />
