4. VAN NOORD will not employ persons who have convic6ons for a theft or felony <br />for the work performed under any part of this contract. <br />5. VAN NOORD will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for <br />employment because of race, religion, wlor, sex or nationai origin. VAN NOORD will take <br />affirmative acHon to insure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated during <br />employment without regard to their race, religion, color, sex or national origin. 3uch action shall <br />include, but is not limited to the following: employmenh, upgrading; demotion or transfer; <br />recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoff; termination; rates of pay or other forms of <br />compensation; and selection for training, including apprenticeship. VAN NOORD agrees to post, <br />in conspicuous places available to employees and applicants for empioyment, notices setting forth <br />the requirements of these non-discrimination pmvisions. <br />6. VAN NOORD must provide insurance as required in the bid documents, certificates <br />of which shall be filed with the City Clerk of the City of Paris. <br />7.
