Mr. O'Brien further stated he is appearing to get a variance of 10 feet <br />to build a duplex; the lot is 50 feet in width but over 100 feet in depth and the <br />duplex will go sideways on the lot. <br />B. No one spoke in opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Jerry Haning, seconded by Allen Moore to approve the variance <br />request. Motion carried 5-0. <br />4. Public hearing and considei°ation of and action on the petition of Whitehouse Properties to <br />grant a variance of Zoning Ordinance 1710, (a) Section 9-500 which provides that the <br />"minimum front yard in a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F) be no less than 25 feet" ana' <br />(b) Section 9-602(S) which provides that "a corner lot used for one family or two family <br />dwellings both street exposures shall be treated as front yards on all lots platted after the <br />effective date of this ordinance " to allow a minimum side yard of 15.8 feet, which is a 9.2 <br />foot variance, on Lot 1 S, City Block 255-A, being number 262 25`h Street N. E. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. No one spoke in favor of the petition. <br />B. No one spoke in opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Allen Moore, seconded by Charles Richards to approve the variance <br />request.
