memo�andum <br />TO: Mayor & City Council <br />John Godwin, City Manager <br />FROM: Shawn Napier, P.E. <br />Director of Engineering, Planning & Development <br />SUBJECT: ROBINSON ADDITION CB 79 FINAL PLAT <br />DATE: May 7, 2013 <br />BACKGROUND: Mrs. Viola Robinson owns a lot located at 205 W. Provine Street. The legal <br />description is Lot 7-C in City Block 79. The property is currently zoned Two Family (2F). The <br />property lies within a FEMA floodplain, but the homeowner has received a Conditional Letter of <br />Map Revision to build a home on the properiy from FEMA. The lot has never been platted. The <br />Board of Adjustments (BOA) voted to approve a variance request for lot width at its April 2nd <br />meeting on a vote of 6-0. The Planning & Zoning Commission voted to approve the final plat on <br />a vote of 4-0 at its May 6th meeting. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: Mrs. Viola Robinson is building a single family home on the site. Mrs. <br />Robinson is using the Home Program through the City of Paris to construct the home. A single <br />family home is permitted in Two Family (2F) zoning. The infrastructure needed to support the <br />home already exists. <br />BUDGET: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the final plat of Robinson Addition CB 79. <br />22 <br />
