memo�andum <br />TO: Mayor & City Council <br />John Godwin, City Manager <br />FROM: Shawn Napier, P.E. <br />Director of Engineering, Planning & Development <br />SUBJECT: POTTERS INDUSTRIES, LLC ADDITION 355 FINAL PLAT <br />DATE: May 7, 2013 <br />BACKGROLTND: Potters Industries owns lot 10 City Block 355, located at 1607 19`h NW <br />Street. The lot has never been platted. The lot is currently zoned Heavy Industrial (HI). The <br />Planning & Zoning Commission voted to approve the final plat on a vote of 4-0 at its May 6th <br />meeting. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: Potters Industries is proposing to add a building on the site. The <br />infrastructure required to support the existing and proposed buildings currently exist. Two fire <br />hydrants are located inside the fence. It has been determined that these hydrants are directly <br />connected to the City's water mains. It was previously thought that the hydrants had been <br />connected downstream of Potter's water meter. Easements have been included on the final plat <br />for the two fire hydrants and associated water lines. <br />BUDGET: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the final plat of Potters Industries. <br />� <br />
