Conduct a public hearing, discuss and act on RESOLUTION NO. 2013-017: A <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />NOMINATING JS BAKING, LLC PROJECT TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR <br />FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM THROUGH THE ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT BANK FOR DESIGNATION AS A QUALIFIED BUSINESS AND <br />ENTERPRISE PROJECT UNDER THE TEXAS ENTERPRISE ZONE ACT, <br />CHAPTER 2303, TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE; AUTHORIZiNG THE CITY OF <br />PARIS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TEXAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM; <br />PROVIDING TAX 1NCENTIVES; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS <br />RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />PEDC Director Steve Gilbert asked that the City Council nominate Skinner as an <br />enterprise project. He explained that if Skinner had the designation, they would be able to <br />receive a rebate of the State only sales tax on all eligible expenses during the start-up phase. Mr. <br />Gilbert said this was revenue neutral for the City of Paris. <br />
