A motion was made by Councilman <br />Weekly, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, for approval of the resolution. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-132, approving the advertisement for bids for furnishing <br />labor, materials, and equipment and for performing all work required for <br />grounds maintenance on specified City of Paris parks and facilities, was <br />presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by <br />Councilwoman Neeley, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-133, referring to the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />of the City of Paris for its recommendation on the matter of abandoning a 50 <br />foot wide street known as County Road 42602, and also known as Simmons <br />Drive, from the west boundary line of Mockingbird Lane going west 150 feet <br />to the end of said Simmons Drive, between Pine Mill Road and Noles Drive <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by <br />Councilman Weekly, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-134, referring the matter of abandoning a portion of the <br />street known as 3rd Street NE from Paris Boulevard to Sycamore Street to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendation, <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Plata, seconded by Mayor <br />Pro Tem Manning, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-135, adopting a revised voting district map for the City <br />of Paris, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, <br />seconded by Councilman Weekly, for approval of the resolution. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br /> <br />
