G) The City of Pads Public Works Department will assign project areas as needed in vadous locations. H) The approved bidder will invoice the City of Paris Public Works Department bi-weekly. No partial payments for work in place will be made. One payment, upon successful completion and acceptance by the OWNER will be made. I) Quantities shown on the BID FORM are estimated quantities only. The OWNER will direct the work working with the CONTRACTOR, to expedite and minimize any downtime and moving time. Payments to the CONTRACTOR will be made based on mutually agreed to amount of time that equipment is used or the ticketed tonnage of materials as bid. J) The City of Pads Public Works Department will inspect the project site on a daily basis. Failure of the work to meet guidelines and specifications will be reason for termination of purchase order and/or removal from the City of Paris bid list. Basis of A~ard: It is the intention of the City of Paris to award this bid on the basis of the lowest delivered price that meets the specifications and special work requirements; however, the City of Pads reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, and to award the bid as may be advantageous to the City of Paris. Price/payment: Price is to be exclusive o f any applicable taxes. Bidder is hereby notified that the City is exempt from state and local sales taxes. The City of Pads tax exemption number is 1-756000635. A tax exempt certificate will be furnished upon request. Payment will be made within thirty (30) days after receipt and acceptance of an invoice.
