HAY LEASE AGREEMENT <br />STATE OF TEXAS ) <br />) KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR ) <br />THIS LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> is made this 9th day of December, 2002, by and between <br />the CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, a municip al corporation, acting by and through its <br />Mayor, duly authorized, hereinafter referred to as LESSOR, and Drew Crawford, 832 CR <br />32260, Sumner, Texas, 75486, Lamar County, Texas, hereinafter referred to as LESSEE. <br />W I T N E S S E T H <br />For and in consideration of the sum of Six Thousand Eight Hundred and no/100 Dollars <br />($6,800.00) cash, payable in equal annual installments of $1,360.00 each, the first of which will be <br />due and payable on or before the 1st day of January 2003, with a like payment being due and payable <br />on or before the 1st day of January of each year thereafter during the term of this Lease, the CITY <br />OF PARIS has bargained and sold, and does by these presents bargain and sell, unto Drew Crawford <br />all the grasses and hay now standing and growing, and to be grown, and the right to cut and bale the <br />same upon all that certain tract of land owned by the City of Paris, situated in Lamar County, Texas, <br />and known as the Lake Gibbo ns property, consisting of approximately 170 acres of land in hay <br />meadows, roughly depicted by the green shaded area on Exhibit A, attached hereto, save and except <br />3.673 acres described on Exhibit B, attached hereto. <br />Said LESSOR does hereby further grant and sell unto the said LESSEE the right of ingress <br />and egress to and from said property at any time during the period of this lease for the purposes of <br />cutting, mowing, baling, removing, inspecting, improving, or fertilizing such lands. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />HAY LEASE AGREEMENT - Page 1 <br />
