(January 6, 2003) <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: <br /> <br />Approving the Texas State Library & Archives Commission Loan Star <br />Libraries Grant in the amount of $5,862.00 and authorizing the <br />execution of Grant #442-03364. <br /> <br />Representing the City of Paris's continued support of the Regional <br />Controlled Substance Apprehension Program and the continuing <br />efforts of the Tri-County Drug Task Force to target illicit controlled <br />substances and organized criminal activity. <br /> <br />Authorizing the application for a Regional Controlled Substance <br />Apprehension Program grant from the Office of the Governor, Criminal <br />Justice Division for the Narcotics Task Force and authorizing the <br />execution of an Interlocal Agreement with the counties of Lamar, <br />Fannin, and Red River, and cities of Clarksville and Bonham. <br /> <br />Approving submission of an application from Charles Fulbright for <br />$100,000.00 of Rural Business Enterprise Grant- Revolving Loan Fund <br />(RBEG-RLF) funds to construct a restaurant at 1490 Fitzhugh Avenue. <br /> <br />Affirming that the City of Paris has complied with the requirements of <br />the Public Funds Investment Act. <br /> <br />Approving and authorizing the execution of Contract Change Notice No. <br />02 (Attachment No. 05) to the Contract for Public Health Services, TDH <br />Document No. 7560022067-2003. <br /> <br />Awarding the bid for City depository services for the period beginning <br />March 1, 2003 and ending February 28, 2005. <br /> <br />Electing, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. Sec. 300gg-21, exemption from the <br />requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act <br />(HIPAA) and the Public Health Services Act (PHS). <br /> <br /> <br />
