Section 2. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. <br />1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 1, CITY BLOCK <br />307-B, on property belonging to RALPH ROOKS, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated <br />as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C) be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, <br />and State of Texas, being a part of the Reddin Russell Survey #786, and being a called <br />1.95 acre tract of land conveyed Hannah Bailey by deed recorded in Volume 221, <br />Page 546 of the Deed Records of said County and State, and being more particularly <br />described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at an iron pin (s) for corner at the southeast corner of said 1.95 <br />acre tract, said point being the northeast corner of a called 1 acre tract of land <br />conveyed the Frisco School by deed recorded in Volume 56, Page 275, of said <br />Records; <br /> THENCE South 88 Deg. 33 Min. 37 Sec. West along an old fence a distance <br />of 270.92 ft. to an iron pin (s) for corner at the southwest corner of said 1.95 acre <br />tract and the northwest corner of said 1 acre tract; <br /> THENCE North 4 Deg. 15 Min. 02 Sec. East along the east boundary line of <br />the Kiamichi Railroad a distance of 492.06 feet to a point for corner at the northwest <br />corner of said 1.95 acre tract and the southwest corner of a called 0.798 acre tract of <br />land conveyed Ralph Rooks by deed recorded in Volume 868, Page 295 of the Real <br />Property Records of said County and State; <br /> THENCE North 88 Deg. 03 Min. 43 Sec. East at 0.57 feet passing an iron pin <br />(f) and continuing on along an old post line a total distance of 231.30 feet. to an iron <br />pin (frs) for corner at the northeast corner of said 1.95 acre tract and the southeast <br />corner of said 0.798 acre tract; <br /> THENCE along the west boundary line of U.S. Hwy 271 as follows: <br />Southerly around a curve (R=931.47', C= South 1 Deg. 05 Min. 24 Sec. East a <br />distance of 15.02 feet) to the left a distance of 15.02 feet; South 1 Deg. 33 Min. 07 <br />Sec. East a distance of 164.99 feet; Southerly around a curve (R=3879.7', C=South <br />0 Deg. 30 Min. 19 Sec. West a distance of 278.56 feet) to the left a distance of <br />278.62 feet to a concrete marker (f); South 1 Deg. 33 Min. 07 Sec. East a distance <br />of 33.23 feet to the place of beginning and containing 2.833 acres of land, being <br />located in the 3700 block of N. Main Street. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, directed <br />to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. <br />1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this <br />ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br />of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each <br /> <br /> <br />
