Resolution No. 2003-003,approving and authorizing a grant application to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, Texas Narcotics Control Program, for a Regional Controlled Substance Apprehension Program Grant in the amount of $441,954.00, with the City of Paris providing $15,500.00 in matching funds, authorizing the execution of an interagency agreement, was presented. Resolution No. 2003-004, approving the submission of an application to the Rural Economic and Community Development Division from Charles Fulbright for $100,000.00 of Rural Business Enterprise Grant - Revolving Loan Fund (RBEG-RLF) funds to construct a restaurant at 1490 Fitzhugh Avenue, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Weekly to approve the resolution. The motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Manning and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
