A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING A NEW SUB-LEASE AGREEMENT FOR THE PARIS RODEO AND HORSE CLUB CONCESSION STAND WHICH IS A PART OF THE GROUNDS SUBLEASE BETWEEN THE RED RIVER VALLEY FAIR ASSOCIATION AND THE PARIS RODEO AND HORSE CLUB; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Red River Valley Fair Association has requested approval from the City Council of the City of Paris to approve a new Sub-Lease Agreement for the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club Concession Stand to replace the existing concession sub-lease which is a part of the grounds sublease agreement with the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club approved July 9, 2001 in Resolution No. 2001-108; and, WHEREAS, it would be in the best interests of the citizens of the city of Paris that such new concession stand sub-lease agreement with Delesha Jeffery be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the Red River Valley Fair Association be, and it is hereby, granted approval to enter into a new concession stand sublease agreement between the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club and Delesha Jeffery in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 10th day of February, 2003. ATTEST: Michael J.
