Ms. Thomason outlined key goals and how these goals may <br />be accomplished by having a successful preservation program. <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Emrich, of Preservation Texas, came forward with a visual <br />presentation of different types of historical structures and how they could <br />be restored in the proper manner so as not to lose the historical aspect of <br />the structure. <br /> <br />Mr. Emrich discussed the preservation ordinance and advised that it is <br />very similar to many others. He told the group that there are model <br />ordinances available from both the state and federal government. He <br />urged the city to contact them for copies of the model ordinances. <br /> <br />After a question and answer session, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />MICHAEL J.
