The City of Paris has previously applied and been approved for two Texas Capital Fund Main Street Grants in 2008 and 2010. These projects were for ADA/sidewalk improvements in the downtown Main Street area. 4. Has the city previously received assistance from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program? (If extensions were required, please explain reason for such) There was an extension request granted for an additional 6 month period on the 2008 Main Street project due to circumstances arising with the loss of two key personnel in the Community Development department - the Main Street Director and the Community Development Coordinator. The 2010 projects has been closed out at this time — two months prior to the expiration of the contract. b. Is there a relationship between the proposed project and the previous project? Please explain. The previous two projects were contiguous projects. This project, however, is addressing sidewalks on the south side of our downtown square 6.
