SUPPORT INFORMATION FOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS <br />Provide the following information for any infrastructure activity (included on the Sources and Uses of Funds): <br />(7) Accessibility Projects <br />(a) What accessibility provisions for persons with special needs are already included in /available at the <br />building /facility or site to which such activities are being proposed? <br />There are existing ramps in this area that are deteriorated and do not comply with ADA <br />regulations. <br />(b) Is the applicant providing full accessibility to the facility /area by including disabled parking, ramps, <br />handrails, doorway widening (exterior and interior doorways), rest room modifications, water fountains, <br />access to upper and lower floors (elevator or lift), and other related improvements? <br />This project only addresses the sidewalk improvements in front of the buildings on this block. It <br />will address ramps and renovation of the deteriorated sidewalks. There will be no improvments <br />on actual building facades or interiors. <br />(c) Has the applicant taken into account possible historic preservation concerns regarding proposed <br />modifications to the building /facility in the area? <br />Yes. The City of Paris has notified the Texas Historical Commission of its intention to construct <br />these improvements. There will be no modifications to buildings in this area. We will only be <br />addressing sidewalk and ADA projects with these funds. <br />2012 Main Street Application Page 13 of 30 04/11/2012 <br />
