REPORT ON COMPLAINTS <br /> OF RACIAL PROFILING <br /> AGAINST OFFICERS- 2002 <br /> <br /> There were no complaints made against Paris Police Officers for racial <br />- profiling in the year 2002. I believe this is a testament to the Officers <br /> and employees of the Paris Police Department and I am thankful for the <br />- relationship we enjoy with all of the residents in our community. <br /> <br /> Remembering that this department responded to 43,000 plus calls and <br />- conducted 3174 arrests and issued 3606 citations and conducted 239 <br /> searches, (in addition to the arrests), without a racial profiling <br />- complaint, we are thankful that our mission was accomplished with no <br /> complaints. That is what we were striving for. We hope to see continued <br /> progress in working with, and for, all of the residents of Paris. <br /> <br /> <br />
