Regular City Council Meeting <br />March 6, 2003 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br />ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING <br />A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3 (SF-3) WITH SPECIFIC <br />USE PERMIT (39) MANUFACTURED HOMES ON LOTS 23-24, BLOCK <br />3, CEDAR HILL ADDITION, REQUESTED BY JOE VANNESS, AGENT <br />FOR VANESSA GAFFNEY, OWNER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br />TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING <br />DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF-2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3 (SF-2) WITH SPECIFIC USE <br />PERMIT (39) MANUFACTURED HOMES SO ESTABLISHED; <br />PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING <br />ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, WAS <br />PRESENTED. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Weekly, seconded by Councilwoman <br />Neeley, for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Manning declared the public hearing open on the petition of <br />Cheryt Moore for a change in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No. <br />3 (SF-3) to a One-Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) with Specific Use <br />Permit (39) Manufactured Home on Lot 40, City Block 297, being number <br />3110 19th Street N.W. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Manning called for proponents to appear and Cheryt Moore <br />representing her grandmother who owns the property at 3110 10th N.W., and <br />who is unable to care for herself. She said she lives next door and is in the <br />process of purchasing that property. Ms. Moore advised that there is a house <br />on the lot but it cannot be repaired. She stated that if they place a mobile home <br />on the lot her grandmother will still be able to live in her own home and Ms. <br />Moore will be able to take care of her. Ms. Moore said there were several <br />mobile homes in this area. Ms. Moore said she was not sure if she will be <br /> <br /> <br />
