Regular City Council Meeting March 6, 2003 Page 4 PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3 (SF-3) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (39) MANUFACTURED HOMES ON LOTS 23-24, BLOCK 3, CEDAR HILL ADDITION, REQUESTED BY JOE VANNESS, AGENT FOR VANESSA GAFFNEY, OWNER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF-2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3 (SF-2) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (39) MANUFACTURED HOMES SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, WAS PRESENTED. A motion was made by Councilman Weekly, seconded by Councilwoman Neeley, for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Pro Tem Manning declared the public hearing open on the petition of Cheryt Moore for a change in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) to a One-Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) with Specific Use Permit (39) Manufactured Home on Lot 40, City Block 297, being number 3110 19th Street N.W. Mayor Pro Tem Manning called for proponents to appear and Cheryt Moore representing her grandmother who owns the property at 3110 10th N.W., and who is unable to care for herself. She said she lives next door and is in the process of purchasing that property. Ms. Moore advised that there is a house on the lot but it cannot be repaired. She stated that if they place a mobile home on the lot her grandmother will still be able to live in her own home and Ms. Moore will be able to take care of her.
