MINUTES <br /> <br />Tuesday, February 11,2003 Meeting <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />City of Paris, Texas <br />Room 1206, Applied Technology Building. <br />Paris Jnnior College, 4:00 PM <br /> <br />Item One: The meeting was called to order by Arvin Starrett, chairman at 4:00 PM. <br />Item Two: The roll was called l~y Paul Denney, Recording Secretary. The following Commission <br />members were present: <br /> <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Arvin Starrett <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Jerry Raper <br />Ann Rogers <br />Barbara Wilson <br /> <br />The following Commission members were absent: <br /> <br />Linda Ryan <br />Becki Norment <br /> <br />A quorunl was present. <br /> <br />Item Three: The following guest was recognized: <br /> <br /> Susie Harper <br /> <br />Item Fonr: The minutes from the January 21, 2003 meeting '/ere read aloud by Paul Denney, Recording <br />Secretary. Barbara Wilson made a motion to approve the minutes, Paul Denney seconded the motion <br />and the motion was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Three persons made a report to the Commission on their trip to Grandbury, Texas to the Texas Historical <br />Commission conference. This conference dealt with the Certified Local Government Program. Barbara <br />Wilson, Tommy Haynes and Susie Harper each reported to the group on what they learned at the <br />conference. <br /> <br />Item Five: Paul Denney made a motion to adopt the proposed Commission Rules as presented by the <br />Commission Rules Committee with the two following stipulations: <br /> <br /> a. The property owner notification be iocreased from five days to ten days. <br /> b. The proposed Commission Rules be reviewed and approved by Larry' Schenk, City Attorney. <br />Ann Rogers seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously. <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> February 11,2003 Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />
