Section 2. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOTS 1 AND 2, <br />CITY BLOCK 399, on property belonging to PHIL CARTER AND PHILLIP BRANDON <br />CARTER, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described <br />property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT <br />(A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same are <br />hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the John W. Williams Survey #1001, <br />and being part of tract #1, a called 1.188 acre tract of land, and part of tract #2, <br />a called 0.751 acre tract of land conveyed to Edna M. DeVoss by deed recorded <br />in Volume 589, Page 543 of the Deed Records of said County and State, and <br />being more particularly described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a chain link post (f) for corner at the Northeast corner of <br />said tract #1 and at an el corner of tract #6, a called 75.3 acre tract of land as <br />conveyed in said DeVoss deed; <br /> THENCE along a fence as follows: South 0o53'02'' West along the East <br />Boundary Line of said tract #1 a distance of 160.74 feet to a capped (JMN - 4025) <br />iron pin (s); South 30o10'09'' West a distance of 37.04 feet to a capped (JMN - <br />4025) iron pin (s); South 40o56'30'' West a distance of 24.96 feet to a capped <br />(JMN - 4025) iron pin (s); South 52o55'40'' West a distance of 95.10 feet to a <br />capped (JMN - 4025) iron pin (s) for corner; <br /> THENCE North 53o00'00'' West along the Northerly Boundary Line of <br />U.S. Hwy. 271 a distance of225.11 feet to a capped (JMN - 4025) iron pin (s) for <br />corner; <br /> THENCE North 9o29'43'' East along a fence a distance of 137.86 feet to <br />a chain link post (f) for corner; <br /> THENCE along a fence as follows: South 89o18'30'' East a distance of <br />86.10 feet to an iron pipe (f) at the Northeast corner of said tract #2 and at the <br />Northwest corner of said tract #1; South 89°32'21" East along a South Boundary <br />Line of said tract #6 a distance of 184.28 feet to the place of beginning and <br />containing 1.378 acres of land, and being located in the 6000 block of Clarksville <br />Street. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, <br />directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br />provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be <br />guilty of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed <br />$2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated <br />sections shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> <br />
