DRAFT <br /> <br />F:~Attorney\Lisa~esolutions\CURRENT~P&Z - 5-03.wpd <br /> May 9, 2003 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PLANNING AND <br />ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE THE <br />UNEXPIRED TERM OF CURTIS FENDLEY, WHICH ENDS DECEMBER <br />31, 2003; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO <br />THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission due to the resignation of Curtis Fendley, and it is necessary to appoint his <br />successor; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of <br /> to serve the unexpired term of Curtis Fendley, which ends December <br />31, 2003; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That be, and (s)he is hereby, appointed to serve the <br />unexpired term of Curtis Fendley, which ends December 31,2003, as a member of the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />Section 3.
