Regular City Council Meeting <br />May 8, 2003 <br />Page 18 <br /> <br />motion was made by Councilman Guest, seconded by Councilman Weekly, for <br />approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2003-083, awarding the bid for the concrete flatwork and park <br />amenities, including a concrete trail, drain pipes, concrete flatwork, picnic <br />stations, and playground, as part of the overall completion of?hase I of the Paris <br />Sports Complex Project to Hilliard & Sons Contractors, Inc., in the amount of <br />$171,000.00, was presented. A motion was made by Councilwoman Neeley, <br />seconded by Councilman Bell, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />City Attorney Schenk presented the following petitions for rezoning: Benton <br />Rainey, Pt. Of Lot 8, City Block 361 from a One-Family Dwelling No. 2 (SF-2) <br />District to a Commercial (C) District; Rev. Henry Starks. Lot 18, City Block 259, <br />from a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF-2) to a Two-Family Dwelling <br />District (2F); David Glass, Lot 1, City Block 249, from a One-Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 (SF-2) to a Commercial District (C); E. A. Stewart, Lot 4, City <br />Block 167, from an Agricultural (A) District to a Commercial (C) District. <br /> <br />Mayor Fendley referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning Commission for <br />their study and recommendation at their meeting scheduled for June 2, 2003, and <br />before the City Council on June 5, 2003. <br /> <br />There being no further business, a motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem <br />McCarthy, seconded by Councilwoman Neeley, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />CURTIS FENDLEY, MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
