TARIFF FOR GAS SERVICE TXU GAS COMPANY <br /> <br />RATE SCHEDULE: 22 Service Rules and Regulations - Gas Service <br /> <br />APPLICABLE TO: Distribution System REVISION: 0 <br /> DATE: <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: PAGE: 8 of 10 <br /> <br /> (a) exit the premises if the odor is inside a building, leave the door <br /> open for ventilation, and stay away from the suspected source of the leak if <br /> outside; <br /> <br /> (b) refrain from operating any electrical switch or device as a spark <br /> could ignite the gas; and <br /> <br /> (c) refrain from smoking, striking a match, or causing a spark. <br /> <br /> (3) Disclaimer of Warranties <br /> COMPANY MAKES NO WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER WITH REGARD TO THE <br /> PRO¥1SlON OF GAS SERVICE AND DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, <br /> EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF <br /> MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. <br /> <br /> J. Customer Complaints <br /> Upon receipt of a complaint, either by letter or by telephone, from any Residential or Commemial <br /> Customer or Regulatory Authority on behalf of a Residential or Commercial Customer, requiring <br /> further action, Company will make a suitable investigation and advise the Regulatory Authority <br /> and complainant of the results thereof. An initial response acknowledging the receipt of the <br /> complaint will be made by the next working day. Company will make a final and complete <br /> response within fifteen (15) days from the date notice of the complaint is received, unless <br /> additional time is granted within such fifteen (15) day period. All Residential and Commercial <br /> Customer complaints should be made in writing to assist in maintaining records on the quality of <br /> service of Company; however, telephone communications will be acceptable. Company will keep <br /> a record of all Residential and Commercial Customer complaints that will show the name and <br /> address of the complainant, the date and nature of the complaint, and the adjustment or <br /> disposition thereof for a period of one (1) year subsequent to the final disposition of the complaint. <br /> <br /> K. Location of Point of Delivery <br /> Customer's installation must be arranged so that the location of the Point of Delivery is <br /> acceptable to Company, taking into consideration the location of existing Company facilities and <br /> construction needed to connect Customer to Company's system. <br /> <br /> Any change from a Company-designated Point of Delivery is subject to an additional payment by <br /> Customer based on any added costs to reach the new designated point. <br /> <br /> L. Space Requirements <br /> Customer must provide, without cost to Company, suitable space on Customer's premises for the <br /> installation of facilities necessary to provide Gas Service to Customer and for installation of <br /> Company's metering facilities. <br /> <br /> M, Customer's Gas Installation <br /> Customer's Gas Installation for receiving Gas Service is to be installed in accordance with <br /> Company's specifications for Gas Service, which are available to Customer at Company's offices <br /> located at 500 N. Akard Street in Dallas, Texas. <br /> <br /> N. Inspection and Approval of Customer's Gas Installation <br /> In those locations where an ordinance requires Customer to obtain a certificate of inspection and <br /> <br /> -51- : <br /> <br /> <br />
