CURTAILMENT ORDER: <br /> <br /> Curtailment Priorities <br /> <br /> The following curtailment priorities in descending order will be observed on Company's pipeline system: <br /> <br />A. Residential, hospitals, chumhes, schools, and other human needs customers. <br /> <br /> B. Industrial and Commercial Customers in the following descending order: (1) Small commercial (less than 100 Mcf on a peak day). <br /> (2) Large commercial (100 Mcf or more on a peak day) and industrial requirements for pilot lights <br /> and plant protection gas. <br /> {3) Small industrial (less than 3,000 Mcf on an average day) requirements for feedstock and <br /> process gas needs. <br /> (4) Large industrial (3,000 Mcf or more on an average day) requirements for feedstock and <br /> process gas needs. <br /> (5) All industrial requirements not specified in priorities B(3), (4), or (6) or F. <br /> (6) (a) Boiler fuel and other indirect flame applications (300 Mcf or less on an average day) <br /> with alternate fuel capabilities. <br /> (b) Boiler fuel and other indirect flame applications (more than 300 Mcf) on an average day <br /> and less than 3,000 Mcr on an average day) with alternate fuel capabilities. <br /> (c) Boiler fuel and other indirect flame applications (3,000 Mcf or more on an average) with <br /> a~ternate fuel capabilities. <br /> <br />C. Legacy Public School rate customers. <br /> <br />D. Agricultural Irrigation <br /> <br />F. Large volume industrial sales and transport customers [need to define]. <br /> <br />Electric Utility Customer Emergency Exemption <br /> <br />Any electric utility customer served by TXU Gas Company will be entitled to sufficient natural gas to avoid <br />the shedding of firm electric load upon a sworn verified statement to TXU Gas that: (1) the utility faces an <br />emergency situation that would require the shedding of firm electric loads unless an emergency exemption <br />from curtailment is granted in sufficient quantities to avoid shedding firm electric loads; (2) the utility has <br />no alternate fuel capability;, (3) the utility has exhausted all purchased power opportunities; (4) the utility <br />has utilized all alternative sources of power; and (5) the utility will accept reduced deliveries, as soon as <br />possible thereafter, to replace the volumes taken during the emergency exemption from curtailment. <br /> <br />Definitions <br /> <br />(1) RESIDENTIAL - Service to customers which consist of direct natural gas usage in a residential <br /> dwelling for space heating, air conditioning, cooking, water heating, and other residential uses, to <br /> the extent that such gas consumption occurs within a single dwelling unit. <br /> <br />(2) COMMERCIAL - Service to customers engaged primarily in the sale of goods or services including <br /> institutions and all government agencies for uses other than those involving manufacturing, <br /> electrical generation, or boiler fuel. <br /> <br /> -96- <br /> <br /> <br />
