HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING <br />100 GEORGE WRIGHT HOMES <br /> March 31, 2003 <br /> 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />Chairman James Poston called the meeting to order at 4.10 p.m. with the following Board <br />members present: JeffHoog, Lillian Brooks, Kathleen Edge, and Annette Grant. Also attending, <br />Executive Director Denny Head, and Legal Council T.K. Haynes. <br /> <br />A special meeting was called to accept the resolution to approve 2004 budget. The board of <br />commissioners reviewed the new budget and questions Executive Director about several <br />different items. Kathleen Edge questioned that the utility budged did not match what figures <br />were calculated. What was calculated and what is allowed by HUD differs. Denny informed the <br />board that we cannot exceed what is allowed by HUD. <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Jeff Hoog questioned the annual 4% raise for PHA employees. Denny informed <br />the board that the 4% raise was based on performance. Kathleen Edge informed the board that <br />the inflation raise was only 2 lA %. Denny Head informed the board that the 4% is what is <br />budgeted, not necessarily what would be issued to employees. <br /> <br />A motion was made to accept the 2004 Budget by Annette Grant and seconded by Lillian <br />Brooks. The vote was unanimous 5-0. <br /> <br />Chairman asked the board if there was any further business, and there being none asked for a <br />motion to close the meeting. Motion was made by Kathleen Edge and seconded by Annette <br />Grant. <br /> <br /> <br />
