Mayor <br />Fendley advised that the next meeting of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission will be on June 2, 2003, and the city will hear those issues on <br />June 5, 2003. <br /> <br />City Attorney Schenk advised that the issue is going to be whether or not she <br />would have to pledge any funds for the drainage. <br /> <br />Mayor Fendley called for consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat <br />for Lots 10-A, 10-B, 10C and l-D, City Block 317, located in the 2200 <br />Block of 36th Street N.E. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, <br />seconded by Councilman Guest, to reject the Preliminary Plat. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />At 8:03 P.M., Mayor Fendley convened the meeting into an Executive <br />Session pursuant to Section 551-071 of the Texas Government Code, <br />Consultation with Attorney, to receive advice of legal counsel pertaining to <br />pending or possible litigation regarding demand for sewer service at old First <br />State Bank building from Downtown Investments. <br /> <br />At 9:05 P.M., Fendley declared the executive session closed and the open <br />session back in session. <br /> <br />Mayor Fendley called for discussion <br />demand for sewer service at the old <br />Downtown Investments Group. <br /> <br />of and possible action regarding <br />First State Bank building from <br /> <br />Steve Asay, 33 E. Plaza, came forward advising that he was representing a <br />group of investors requesting sewer service to 33 E. Plaza in downtown <br />Paris. He said the building was built in 1917 and had several bathrooms that <br />operated depending on the city sewer system from 1917 until the closing of <br /> <br /> <br />
