A G E N D A 1) Call meeting to order— Rebecca Clifford, Chair 2) Approval of minutes from the December 10, 2013 regular meeting and December 16, 2013 called meeting 3) Approval of [November 2013 and December 2013] financials 4) Director's Report 5) Discuss and take action on video marketing proposal by Jon McFadden and demonstration of website features by Hunter Hilburn, EDSuites. 6) Discuss and take action regarding the Program of Work for FY 2013 -14 and funding of same. – Steve Gilbert 7) Discuss and take action on committee report to review the PEDC operating budget and revised chart of accounts – Bruce Carr & David Turner 8) Discuss and take action on EDA Grant options for 2014. 9) Discuss and take action on proposed operating policies and procedures for the Paris EDC as recommended by the Committee – Bruce Carr & Vicki Ballard 10) Discuss and take action on the proposed revision(s) to the current Tax Abatement Criteria as instructed by the Paris City Council at its June 24, 2013 meeting. – Steve Gilbert 11) Discuss and take action on Incentive and Abatement Agreement Compliance Monitoring Report – PEDC Staff 12) Convene into Executive Session: 1. Pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property. 2. Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or deliberate: 1) commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations; or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect.
