A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF T~IE CITY OF PARIS~ PARIS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL AND AUTI-IORIZING TIlE PURCHASE OF A TRACTOR, FRONT END LOAI)ER, AND SItREDDER FOR TIlE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT; MAKING OT$IER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO T$IE S~CT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WIIEREAS, the City of Paris is in need of mowing equipment for the Community Development Department and has received four (4) proposals for a new tractor, front end loader, and shredder; and, WI~IEREAS~ the best proposal for a new tractor, front end loader, and shredder was from Larue Ford Tractor Company in Paris, Texas; and, W$IEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that the proposal for such Model TN65, 47 pto hp diesel tractor, 32LA New Holland front end loader, and 6' rotary cutter in the amount of $21,695.00, from Larue Ford Tractor Company, should in all things, be approved and the purchase of said equipment for the Community Development Department should be authorized; NOW~ TI~IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TkIE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-IE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS~ TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the proposal of Larue Ford Tractor Company for a new Model TN65, 47 pro hp diesel tractor, a 32 LA New Holland front end loader, and a 6' rotary cutter in the amount of $21,695.00, be, and the same is hereby accepted and the purchase of said equipment is hereby authorized.
