Mr. Haynes gave a report that the reflective paint has been put down
near the self service fuel system to help pilots see the self service fuel
system at night. He thanked J.W. Ashmore for his assistance in
showing the paint crew where to place the paint stripes. We also
painted a stripe from the taxiway to show the way to the hangars at
night.

A discussion of reflectors on the North and South taxiway was held.
J.W. Ashmore volunteered to check the reflectors during the night
hours and report if the 29 new reflectors have solved the problem.

Mr. Collier reported that he has not been able to get Pete Miller to the
Airport regarding the repair of the rubber boot at top of hangars B-7
and B-9 to avoid water standing in hangars. We shall continue to
contact him to come to the Airport.

A discussion of the ILS precision approach at Cox Field was held.
Mr. Haynes reported that we have been in contact with the FAA and
they referred us to the web site for the steps to follow in this
application. In order to get ILS precision approach, we will have to go
through a number of steps. We shall report the status of this
application at the next meeting.

The Board requested that we keep items 6 and 7 on the August agenda
and possibly item 5, depending on J.W. Ashmore's assessment of the
reflectors.

9. The meeting adjourned at 6:20 P.M.

Thomas E. Haynes, Recorder
